compare and contrast essay

The Big Cities  of New York and Seoul

A lot of cool buildings are located there, money flows there, people visit there, and fashion starts there, do you know the place I am referring to? This is New York! Even though there are a lot of big cities, I can't forget the feelings I had in New York. There were so many impressive places to see and things to do. In fact, New York is not the capital of America. But i felt that it looked a lot like the capital of Korea, Seoul. While I stayed in New York, on the one hand, I was comfortable but on the other hand, I felt different. Through this experience, I would like to describe the similarities and differences between Seoul and New York.
The first similarity between them is that a lot of people live there, even though the lands are small. Both Seoul and New York have over 10,000,000 people living there. . So there are many huge skyscrapers to contain people. One of the buildings New York has is the Empire State Building, which used to be the tallest building in the world. Also, Seoul has one of the tallest buildings in the world, 63 Building,. When it comes to special days like New Years and Christmas, both of them use bright lights as decorations  and thousands of people come to the tops of the buildings to see the night view and for taking pictures and celebrating.
The second thing is that both of them have huge rivers around them. Near the river, there are beautiful parks where people can relax behind tall buildings. There are also ports where people can take tourist ships. Even though the feeling is different, the pictures that I took of New York City's night view looked very similar to Seoul's night view.

On contrast, I found some different things between New York City and Seoul. One is that New York didn't have small stores in trailers In Seoul, there are a lot of trailers which sell accessories , food, and clothes. In contrast, I just saw one trailer selling pretzels and hotdogs in New York.
The second thing is that most stores in New York close at 6pm except restaurants, pubs, and bars. Conversely, in Korea all stores close at 8 pm or later than that. It does not matter what kind of store it is. Since I didn't find any stores open past 6 o'clock in New York, I was bored after dinner. But in Seoul, even young people under 18 years of age can go around and stay out on the streets eating or buying things until very late. .

To sum up, as a big city, both New York City and Seoul have active lifestyles. However, each of them has a few different things if you look carefully. Just come and experience both beautiful cities for a few days. You will have fun.

how to wash sneakers

How to washing a sneaker

People cannot go out without shoes. Whenever people go out, people always wear it. So we have a lot of shoes depending on the purpose. There are football shoes, basketball shoes, running shoes, etc. The most common shoes we usually wear are sneakers, which are called casual shoes. Because it doesn’t matter whether someone is male or female, both sexes often walk around in sneakers all day. Although people wear them all the time, they usually do not clean them
Most people think that washing is very difficult and complicated. But it is easier than most people think. There are three easy steps we can follow to wash converse sneakers, a type of casual shoes.

First, take the laces out of the sneakers. If the laces are dirty, wash them separately, or put them in a mesh laundry bag, or buy new ones. After that remove any stains from the surface of the sneakers by scrubbing with a toothbrush.

Second, put the sneakers into a laundry bag or pillowcase. This will prevent the sneakers from damaging the drum of the washing machine. Also be sure to set the machine on the “delicate cycle” and use cold water. If you are washing the sneakers alone, set the machine for a small load.

Last, let the sneakers air dry outside. It is not good for them to go into clothes dryer because heating could damage the sneakers. Put newspaper into the sneakers so that they do not lose their shape.

The dirtiest part of one’s body is their feet because there is no ventilation. So if someone does not clean their sneakers, he or she will have smell feet which is bad for their image. You can be a clean person through these 3 simple steps. Do not forget your shoes are part of your clothing.

in KOREA_"hello"

i would like to introduce "korea" language
the first one is 안녕하세요
the meaning is hello

korea have two types "hello"
when we greet older people, we have to say 안녕하세요 [ann yeong ha se yo] to respect.
안녕[ann yeong] uaually means to say to friends and younger people than you.

so, that's why korean usually ask your old. even meet at first time.
it's not rude in korea.
it just imply how to do well  for you after, when we meet again.

so. if you come to korea, you have to remember that :)
